Once you've installed Seekers of Adoulin you need to access the new continent by doing a quest in Lower Jeuno. This is an easy task to accomplish, Most of the people I know in game went with the Garlaige Citadel option, it's simple enough to do.

Once the quest is completed you can warp to Adoulin where you'll get a CS. The, you have to find your way to the city of Adoulin for another CS. Finally make your way to the Pioneer's Coalition, it has a shovel on the sign outside, and talk to Brenton…for another CS. Congratulations, you can now join coalitions, join reives, start getting imprimaturs, and farm Bayld.

What are Coalitions?

They're like the bastard children of Guilds and Assaults that affect your server's progress in Adoulin. You can participate in as many different coalitions as you want. Each coalition has a server wide rank that can increase, decrease, or stay the same each conquest tally. Everyone on the server benefits when a Coalition ranks up.

What are Imprimaturs?

Simply put, they're assault tags given out every six earth hours. You need them to take coalition tasks, which reward you with EXP, Bayld, and a shot at a simulacrum piece (cover much later with the Skirmish event). Coalition tasks also contribute to your coalition's server wide rank. Spending 20 imprimaturs in the same coalition will increase your individual rank. The higher your rank inside a coalition, the higher the level of tasks you can do, which have better rewards. eventually reduces the Bayld needed for some future events.

What are Reives?

Reives are essentially what you get when Campaign Battles are combined with Bastion Battles, and they come in two flavors:

Colonization Reives are battles where players destroy roots or rocks that obstruct paths in Adoulin zones, while dealing with the monsters that guard them.

Lair Reives are smaller battles fought in slightly more open areas with few enemies to destroy small hives, stumps, etc that these pests call home.

Participating in reives is the primary way of increasing an area's colonization rate and farming Bayld for yourself. You need a couple key items, obtained from quests, to deal damage to roots or rocks.

What is Bayld

Bayld is Adoulin's equivalent to CP/IS/AN. It's used to purchase Ionis (Adoulin's Signet effect), pioneering KI's, coalition goods and services, and more. It's a pretty damn important part of the Seekers of Adoulin expansion. Bayld can be obtained from quests (small amounts), coalition tasks (amounts very by task rank), and reives (amount varies by performance). Hope you love beating on tree roots and magma rocks because balyd farming is going to be plentiful if you want to get anything from Adoulin.
